Ayurveda is one of the ancient systems of medicine which is widely practiced as a personalized scientific approach towards the general wellness. In Ayurveda, Prakriti (physical constitution) is conductive state of Dosha, broadly defined as the phenotypes which are determined on the basis of physical, psychological and physiological make up of an individual. Prakriti is formed at the time of formation and development of Garbha due to self excitatory causes which runs from birth to death. Prakriti is a key determinant of how one individual is different from the other. The Deha prakriti is essentially genetically determined and is likely to be influenced by a variety of environmental factors to some extent. The study was designed to revalidate and assess the IQ of healthy individuals of different Prakriti. Firstly, healthy individuals of age group 20-30years were included and their Prakriti was assessed by Prakriti Assessment Proforma divided into three groups (each group has 10 healthy individuals) on the basis of their dominant Deha Prakriti and after that IQ was assessed in all the 30 individuals by Open Source Psychometric
Project. Score was analysed and compare statistically by the test analysis of variance (ANOVA). The test result significantly showed that different Deha Prakriti individuals have different intelligence quotient. This article highlights the relation between Deha prakriti and intelligence quotient of an individual and comparative outcome between the two variables (Deha prakriti and IQ).
